She stays up to date on what’s working for the market at the time and is able to put your request together more beautifully than you imagined. She’s easy to work with, and fun too. Melissa is wonderful to work with. I’ve used her service for three different series, each in a slightly different genre. Every time she’s been careful to create a style for the series while keeping the look of my brand. I consider myself particular about covers, but I’ve developed a sense of trust with The Illustrated Author. I know that I can change my mind or speak up if something isn’t working, but chances are she’ll know what I want better than I do. Best of all is the feeling that I can rely on someone whose business it is to know the trends and fashions, what’s been overused and what’s on point. I can’t recommend her top-notch work highly enough.
